NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL REGISTRATION FORM|NSP ONLINE REGISTRATION
NNSP : Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and Univ. Passed with 80 percentile or above in General and Science Stream in Class 12th Annual Examination conducted by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in March 2022 under “Students” scheme and whose parent’s annual income is Rs. 4,50,000/-, students can apply online to avail this scholarship.
Students who have benefited under this scholarship scheme from the year 2018 to 2021 and are eligible for renewal scholarship in the year 2022 have to fill the online application form for renewal on the website of National e-scholarship portal www.scholarships.gov.in.

Government of India and state governments of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand and more states provide scholarships to needy students every year. Various schemes have been launched to provide scholarships. A portal named “National Scholarship Portal” has been launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to invite applications from students for these scholarships. Various scholarship schemes running in the country are managed by the government through this portal.

Below are the eligibility criteria you need to apply for the NSP Scholarship.
The applicant should belong to a family whose financial condition is weak
He/she should be an Indian citizen
Applicant should belong to SC/ST/OBC/EBC/minority community or fall under general category BPL category
He/she must fulfill the eligibility conditions specified as per the authority scheme.
How to Apply in National Scholarship Portal?
Follow the below mentioned procedure to apply online in this national scholarship portal scheme.
First of all, register by clicking on this https://scholarships.gov.in/fresh/newstdRegfrmInstruction website.
Then login by entering Application ID, Password and Captcha.
All details have to be entered after login.

Who is eligible to apply for pre-matric, post-matric and merit cum means based scholarship schemes?
Students from six designated minority communities viz., Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi (Parsi) studying in India only and fulfilling the scheme guidelines are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
How to apply online for NSP scholarship?
Pre-matric, post-matric and merit cum means based scholarship schemes are online schemes and one can apply for new or renewal scholarship under any of these schemes through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.scholarships.gov.in.
What should be the type and size of documents to be uploaded?
The file format should be pdf and jpeg and the size of each document should not exceed 200 kb.
What to do if you forget Application ID?
The procedure for restoration of Application ID is given below;
Student Login -> “Forgot Registration Details? ” then enter basic fields accordingly and click on “Get Registration Details” button.
How to check NSP application status online?
Login under ‘Student Login’ option by entering your Application ID and Password. Once logged in, you will see the ‘Check Your Status’ option. Under this option you can check your online status.
- How to Apply?
Students applying for scholarship for the first time (Fresh Students) need to “Register” on the portal as fresh applicant by providing accurate and authenticated information as printed on their documents in the “Student Registration Form”.
The registration form is required to be filled by parents / guardian of students who are below the age of 18 years on the date of registration.
Before initiating registration process, students / Parents / guardian are advised to keep the following documents handy:
- 1. Educational documents of student
- 2. Student’s Bank account number and IFSC code of the bank branch
Note: For pre matric scholarship scheme, where students do not have their own bank account, parents can provide their own account details. However, parents account number can only be used against scholarship applications for maximum two children. - 3. Aadhaar number of the Student
- 4. If Aadhaar is not available, then Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School and
- 5. Aadhaar Enrolment ID and Scanned copy of Bank passbook
- 6. If Institute/School is different from domicile state of the applicant, then Bonafide student certificate from Institute / School.
