The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively expanding the compatibility of their military aircraft with U.S.-made weapon systems. Now, the Ukrainian Su-27 became the second platform capable of carrying anti-radar missiles AGM-88 HARM.

Previously such compatibility was introduced to the Soviet-era MiG-29 planes that are currently used by the Ukrainian Air Force.

A new image published online shows Su-27 equipped with AGM-88. This information has not been confirmed officially yet.

According to Defense Express, the photo above shows the Su-27S from the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade. The experts also say this may also indicate that the Ukrainian military uses HARM missiles not only from the MiG-29 or the Su-27, but quite possibly from other types of aircraft as well.

This may also indicate the fact that the anti-radar missiles of this particular type are being supplied to Ukraine on a regular basis. A new batch of the AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles is also among the supplies listed in the latest military aid package from the U.S. which was announced on September 8.
