Uproar over development works: Uproar in Siddpur municipality, 4 members resigned
There was an uproar over various development works in the municipality of Siddhapur of Patan district. The corporators resigned due to lack of various developmental works of light, water, cleaning and road in Ward No. 2 area. It was learned that despite repeated representations, the problems were not solved and finally they resigned.
A total of 4 corporators resigned, 1 from BJP and 3 from independent. The corporators also alleged that there is corruption in the BJP-ruled municipality. It was also alleged that the policy of vala-dawali was being followed in the development works. Politics has heated up due to the resignation of corporators in Siddapur even before the elections.
